What is covered by your testing fees?
Testing fees reflect the number of hours that I spend meeting with parents, the number of hours I spend with your child, time spent communicating with your child's teachers and others, observing in the classroom, and the number of hours that I spend scoring your child’s tests, interpreting test scores, and writing the final report.
Fees for school admission testing are typically paid prior to or at the testing session. Fees for full learning assessments are typically paid in two equal installments. The first half of the fee is due at our first meeting. The second half of the fee is due prior to your final feedback session and receiving my written report.
How much does testing cost?
Fees for testing services vary, based upon the nature of the assessment being done.
A school admissions evaluation, using a single instrument, costs between $520 and $660.
School admissions testing using both cognitive and achievement testing is usually priced between $1,140 and $1,700.
A comprehensive assessment package, involving multiple meetings with parents, multiple testing instruments and questionnaires, with a full written report is most commonly priced between $2,050 and $2,670, though evaluations that are particularly complex and may be priced as high as $3,400.
We will discuss the testing needs of your child and you will be aware of my fees for the planned assessment prior to the time we begin work. I will provide a fee agreement sheet to you which lists the services I will provide and fees to be paid.
